Derrick is not your traditional portrait & wedding photographer. He mixes fine art with fashion and glamour to create unique images.
His style comes from a background in art, starting in early childhood with drawing, eventually sharpening his skill at portraiture and landscapes with college level instruction. In 2005, Derrick purchased his first digital camera to draw from his photographs using pencil, charcoal, pen & ink, striving for as much realism and detail as possible. From there the rest is history.
Derrick continues his photography education in yearly workshops & studying online photography classes by top Wedding & Portrait photographers in the world. Derrick is a member of The Professional Photographers of America and has also served on the board for The Woodlands Photography Club, Event Photographer for The Woodlands CVB & Township, & Landry's.

Basic Senior Session: $125
This session is great for expressing who you are. Up to 5 outfits and includes unique & amazing outdoor locations with your choice of backgrounds. Your choice of natural light & creative off-camera lighting or a mixture of both. Brings lots of ideas and props to include in your photos.
- Approximately 40-50 images to choose from
- Includes private album for 6 months to order prints & share with family and friends
- Duration: 2-3 hrs

- Elite High School Senior & Sports Portrait Package: $300
- Duration: 2-3 hrs

Highly stylized portaits with attention to detail & realism for a 3-D effect. Perfect for the person looking one-of-a-kind digital art portraits using a variety of photography techniques. The process includes a consultation visit at leasttwo weeks before the day of the shoot to discuss details & requests for the session and editing.
